MAMA - SOLID FOOD - RANIA

sy start mberi solid pada Rania sejak 4 nov 2010..halamak 1 more week br cukup 6months..sbnrnye bukan sy yg bagi..haritu sgt tensi kerje..suddenly got call from my aunty yg jage Rania..susu Rania kehabisan..tp sy xbleh keluar time tu..so setelah buat ape yg patut managed to send some EBF..x sure ape EBF sbnrnye either eklusif breast milk or express breast milk..tp gune jelah kan word EBF ni referring to hasil tenusu sy..bile smpai d situ tgk ank sy duk atas meja dgn dsokong my uncle..tgh makan..haaape..tp xde la marah maintain je..tgk dia berselera pulak tu..kentang putar KFC..haaape skali lg..sy sbnrnye x confident kalau dia mkn KFC mash potato takut ade MSG tp maintain jugalah sb tau anak sy xcukup susu..biskut farley n nestum beras merah xmo makan according to aunty la..

So starting from dat day sy mule mbekalkan Rania dgn bubur nasi..but my aunty is quite negative about storing food in refrigerator or freezer..according to her kene prepare fresh baby's food ni..even sy dipesan jgn mkn nasi or lauk leftover hr sebelum2nye nnti anak kembung perut..my point of view pulak fridgeing (betul ke ni) and freezing is a way to preserve kan..better than beli canned/jarred food or even KFC mash potato yg mgkn ade preservative yg kt tatau pun side effect nye. so sy buat jugakla bubur nasi for 3 days smpn dlm fridge dlm bekas kcik2..very morning sy panaskan seperti kununnye sy memasak fresh stiap pagi..sori aunty sy xsempat nk buat bubur pagi2..hmm even wardina said boleh simpan mknn up to 3-6 months if disejuk beku..sy bace in "Mama saya lapar"..kawan2 tlg kasik pendapat if info tu salah k..

Taaapi setelah 2 mggu duk d nursery masalah dtg kembali..dia xmahu makan bubur nasi yg sy bekalkan..mungkin dia jemu dgn rase yg same selame 3 hr..or mungkin sy masak xsedap kot..kenyataan ini dsokong plak dgn raye haji lepas blk kg sy..dia makan beriya2 bubur nasik Hazim, anak kakak sy yg berumur hampir setahun..siap de bunyi ammm ammm appp..buke mulut luas2 mcm nk lagi..sampai Hazim pun tengok semacam..berape hari Rania xmakan ni..agknye tu yg Hazim fikir..So far yg pernah sy try buat utk Rania:
1. bubur nasi kosong (kate Rania uuwekk..xmakan lgsung)
2. bubur nasi + serbuk bilis goreng
3. bubur nasi + carrot + bilis
4. bubur nasi + kentang + bilis
5. cacamermba semua yg di atas
6. bubur nasi + daging + tomato (nasi tomato kunun)
7. bubur nasi + ayam + kentang
8. bubur nasi + bilis + bayam (baru try malam tadi..nanti tgk hasilnye makan tak dia d nursery)
Sebenarnye nursery dh inform sy dia tanak mkn bubur nasi..xyah buat la kak katenye sian akk masak..taaapi camne pun sy buat jgkla..xkan putus asa kot..lame kelamaan dia kene makan jugak kan..sampai bila nak makan biskut n nestum shj n susu sy je..
nak jugak try a few yg suggested by frens:
1. gaya Ain yg dcerite oleh Dee - rice puree, carot puree, tomato puree - freeze in ice cube-then thaw and mixmatch yg mane berkenan ikut selera anak..thanx to Dee n Ain..nk kene bli ice cube tray bertutup or else ice cube tray letak dlm bekas bertutup ok gak kan.
2. my fren k najah..buat puree memacam juga n anknye plg suke puree sweet potato..bleh try ni..
di atas tu gambar food grinder Annabel Karmel..kalo dpt sebijik mcm best..ade tak sesape yg pernah jmpe sumthing like this djual d malaysia..sila share yek..gmba tu nk letak kt bawah..tp dia kuar d situ..masih perlu berguru dgn blogger2 sume..web Annabel Karmel ni pun sy sgt suka..suka bacelah n tgk gamba dia nye food..nyum nyum sy pun teringin nk buat utk Rania..sila rujuk www.annabelkarmel.com/

tmah sy slalu bg Muaz bubur nasi+carrot/ape2 je sayur yg lembut cam bayam ngan sup...sup tu x kisahla..kdg2 sup ikan, ayam or telur..even udang pun sy penah bagi...wpun Muaz belum setahun..tp Alhamdulillah dia ok jer..

bubur nasi dia mmg laju je makan...tp kita lak yg dok risau dia bosan asik makan yg sama je...kkdg2 sy wat whipped potato versi sy..hehe..mkn ngn sup gak...

klu bagi nestum..dia sendiri pndai meloya...uwekkk...

sy tak penah lak freeze bubur..slalunya skali msk boleh makan 2 kali je..mlm n tghari esoknyer..kdg2 terbagi gak whipped potato KFC bila penyakit M datang..bukannya ape nak bg dia rase yg lain lak...slalu mkn yg sama bosan jugak kan ;P

Info ni dpt dr Annabel Karmel..katenye frozen puree bleh smpn up to 8 weeks..dpt smpn smggu pun kire ok la..

"As a baby only eats tiny amounts especially in the early stages of weaning it saves time to make up larger quantities of puree and freeze extra portions in ice-cube trays or small plastic freezer pots for future meals. Thus in a couple of hours you can prepare enough food for your baby for a month using the weekly menu planners.

• Once food has cooled down, freeze as soon as possible.

• Freeze baby food in a flexible ice-cube tray with a lid, which you should label clearly with the contents and expiry date.

• Thaw foods by either taking them out of the freezer several hours before a meal, heating gently in a saucepan or defrosting in a microwave. Always reheat foods thoroughly, allow cooling and testing the temperature of the food before giving it to your baby. If reheating in a microwave, make sure that you stir the food to get rid of any hot spots.

Never refreeze meals that have already been frozen. The exception to this is that raw frozen food can be returned to the freezer once it is cooked. For example cooked frozen peas can be re-frozen.

Do not reheat foods more than once.

The temperature of your freezer should be 0F (-18C) or below.

Baby purees will keep for 8 weeks."
